Wind turbine on grid should include main body alternator+rotor, on-grid controller and on grid invertor. It hasn't battery bank.

Wind turbine with controller convertor the wind energy to DC power, then on grid invertor conver it to be sine wave AC power,which has same frequency and phase with grid voltage. This AC power feed the grid partly,meanwhile,the other power supply the local loads.
